Kay L. Fulwiler, 64, Algoma, passed away, Friday, January 21, 2022 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee after a lengthy illness. She was born April 12, 1957 in Algoma to Ken and Shirley (Bathke) Haack. Kay was a graduate of the Algoma High School in 1975. She was employed at a number of places, including a Holiday Inn, the Algoma Hospital, Algoma Hardwoods and Wisconsin Label. Kay married Dave Fulwiler in Algoma on August 26, 1983. After their third child Kay decided to be a stay at home mom to raise their children. Kay's main love in life was her family, then shopping, going to concerts, including SummerFest, decorating, wrapping presents, crafting, watching old movies on TCM, spending time with her dogs and a love and fascination with Sloths. Kay is survived by her husband Dave of 38 years, two daughters Allison Fulwiler, Alexa Fulwiler and son Jesse Fulwiler; her parents Ken and Shirley Haack; siblings Kim (Dennis) Zima, Tom Haack and Peter (Vonnie) Haack; mother-in-law Kitty Fulwiler; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Terry (Kris) Fulwiler, Sara (Tom) Hahn, Dan (Mary) Fulwiler, Russ (Kathy) Fulwiler and Mary (Tom) Grovogel; nieces and nephews and a special thank you to Jenny Schmidt and her daughter Breanne for all the care and support given to Kay and her family during her illness. Kay was preceded in death by her father-in-law Raymond Fulwiler and Godmother Mary Stangel. Family and friends may call at the SCHINDERLE FUNERAL HOME, Algoma, on Monday, January 31, 2022 from 4 PM to 8 PM and then after 9 AM Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Algoma until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM with Rev.
