Kay Leonard Obituary
Kay (Hessler) Leonard, 96, a lifelong resident of Delmar, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, March 9, 2023.
Born in Albany on January 19, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Emerson and Katherine (Ingham) Hessler.
She worked at the Bethlehem Central High School for 17 years and was a longtime member of Bethlehem Community Church.
Kay was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, John C. Leonard, who died on April 3, 2013, and her daughter, Lonna Hitchcock, who died June 22, 2022.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Bolduc and her husband Stephen Bolduc and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Bethlehem Community Church, 201 Elm Ave., Delmar.
Contributions in Kay's memory may be made to the Capital City Rescue Mission.
