Kay Moody Obituary
Kay Frances Moody, age 62, of Ramsey Street in Linden, NC passed away on Friday, December 23rd, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family after a battle with Lung Cancer. Memorial Services will be held-3:00 PM, Thursday, December 29th, 2022 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson NC. Officiating will be Rev Roy Lee Johnson.
Mrs. Moody was born on January 30th, 1960 in Wake County to Clem Williams, Jr and to Lottie Barefoot Williams. She was preceded in death by her father. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.
Survivors including her husband, Rodney Canaday; mother Lottie Williams Streeter, daughters Amy Moody, Mary Moody, and Natalie Moody; grandson, Noah Ray Flowers; sisters Vivian Norris and Teresa Godwin; and fur babies, Sugar and Bella.
The family will receive friends at the residence as well as immediately following the memorial services.
