Kay F. Porter, age 83, beloved wife of the late Ralph Porter, passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters Tracey Barton and Kathy Clark, on Wednesday June 18, 2025.
In addition to her daughters, she is survived by her children, Tracey (Larry) Barton, Kathy (Jeff) Clark; Bryan (Tammy) Porter; Deborah (Dennis) Lee, Hugh Oney, Jr.; sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her daughter, Judy Jo Wade; parents, Adrian and Elouise Bartholow; brothers, Caroll and George Bartholow; and sister, Carolyn Morrison.
Mrs. Porter loved to travel to visit with her family and take family vacations. She enjoyed camping, shopping and spending time with her family. Mrs. Kay loved going to auctions with her late husband and loved Bingo Night at The Oaks of Aiken, where she resided for a time. She especially loved her dog "Scooby", who was her protector and best friend. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
A funeral service honoring her life will be held on Sunday June 22, 2025 at 4pm at Christian Heritage Church in Graniteville with Pastor Stephen Phillips and Pastor Jonathan Randall officiating. The interment will follow at the Historic Graniteville Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Pallbearers will be: Koen Hester, Nick Hester, Ronald Barton, Robert Barton, Blake Shearer and Scrapper Craig.
