Seal Harbor-
Kay Lynn (Dodge) Smallidge, known by many as Kaylynn, passed away Saturday January 11, 2025. She was born the daughter of Robert L. Dodge Sr. and Dorris (Nickerson) Dodge on August 27, 1953. Kaylynn had a great love of her family and really missed her son Barry who died tragically in 2005. Kaylynn had many hobbies that would occupy her time such as: knitting, puzzles, sewing, painting, reading murder mysteries, watching television, playing video games, baking and cooking. Outside she enjoyed gardening and horseback riding. Kaylynn was a loving and supporting mother and treated her boy's friends as if they were one of her own. She had a great sense of humor, whether dining at Carrabba's or going to the movies, she loved to laugh.
Kaylynn is survived by two sons: Arthur M. Smallidge and husband Robert Smallidge, and Jeremiah Smallidge. Three sisters: Michelle Hawthorne, April (Penny) Baker and husband Alan and Sally Ballenger, as well as her former husband Arthur C. Smallidge and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents Kaylynn was predeceased by her second husband David Roy Tolstrup, one son Barry Rhodes Smallidge and one brother Bobby Dodge.
Family and friends will gather for a time of visitation from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday January 18, 2025 at Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home 28 Elm Street, Bucksport.
