KAYCEE LATREZ FARRAR – Age 2, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Saturday, May 31, 2025. He was born April 9, 2023 to his parents, Keontae Latrez Farrar and Emonie Nycole Washington. He was preceded in death by paternal great grandmother, Cynthia Simpson; maternal great grandparents, Christopher Kelow and Gloria Upshaw; uncle, Eric Lebron Upshaw, Jr.
Kaycee is survived by his loving parents, Keontae Latrez Farrar and Emonie Nycole Washington; maternal grandparents, Eric Upshaw, Sr. and Crystal (Royal Kelow) Washington; paternal grandparents, Terrell (Felisha Owensjelks) Farrar and Shamira Hosley; great grandparents, Angela Hosley and Wanda (Steve Tolliver) Farrar, Phyllis and Anthony Winkfield and Donnie and Beverly McSears; great great grandparents, Peggy (Chuck) Meyers and Lovella Solomon; aunts, Aniyah Upshaw, Sariah Richards, and Akeyla Richards; uncles, Elijah "E.J." Mahoney and Jabari Tanner, special grandparents, Lakeisha Taylor and Tony "Pwee" High; special cousin, Kirah "Chunk" Betton;great uncles, Christopher ( Amanda) Washington, Johnny Taylor, Jabari Farrar, Adrian Farrar, Hakeem Hasley, Wayne Taylor, and Jerome Washington; great aunts, Erika Hasley, Lyssa Williams, and Aliyah Farrar, a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and the Early Head Start Program at Whitfield County Daycare where Kaycee attended.
Homegoing Celebration will be Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 1:00 P. M. at Mountain Ridge Baptist Church, 1401 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, Dalton, GA 30721, with Rev. Dr. Jerry D. Jones, Eulogist and Rev. James, Washington, Presider. His remains will lie in state on Friday at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour. Interment; Hopewell Cemetery.
