Kayla Sterling Anderson passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the age of 37. She was born on June 20, 1988, in Sacramento, California, to Mark Anderson and Tawny Passarello. Kayla was the middle child, with an older sister, Danielle Gray, and a younger brother, Kyle Anderson.
Kayla leaves behind her greatest joy and the light of her life, her daughter Ellie - the air she breathed, the sunshine on her face, her favorite song. Ellie was her world, and Kayla's love for her was boundless and fierce.
Kayla had recently graduated from Frederico's School of Esthetics and was excited to begin her new career. She was preparing to earn her license and was passionate about using her gift of touch to help others feel beautiful and confident. She had also just started a new job at Hand and Stone Massage, where she was eager to grow and pursue her dreams.
Full of life and warmth, Kayla had a light that could brighten any room. Her heart was generous, her laughter infectious, and her spirit unforgettable. She had a rare ability to make those around her feel truly seen, understood, and loved.
Kayla will be missed beyond measure by all who knew her and loved her. Her memory will continue to shine through the lives she touched.
