Kayla M. Thomas

Kayla M. Thomas, age 31, of Green Bay, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly on August 4, 2022 due to health complications.
Kayla was born on July 15, 1991 to Jonathan Thomas and Antoinette (Doxtator) Thomas in Green Bay, WI. Kayla graduated from Green Bay Southwest High School in 2009 and went on to a career as a Preparation Cook, most notably with the Green Bay Packers. She will always be remembered by her family as an ambitious woman who was exceptionally giving and forgiving, though she was outspoken. You always knew where you stood with Kayla.
In her spare time, Kayla enjoyed spending time with her family, most of all, her 3 daughters, whom she loved unconditionally, Yakoh, Kawi and Lala. In addition, she had a passion for music, the outdoors and fashion.
Kayla is survived and will be greatly missed by her daughters, Yakoh, Kawi and Lala; parents, Jonathan "Gotsy" (Natasha) Thomas and Antoinette (significant other, Brian) Thomas; siblings, Timothy (significant other, Kylene) Hock, Jr., Felicia (significant other, Aaron) Thomas, Miranda (Roberto) Rodriguez, Niyah Thomas and Jayme Thomas; her first love, Ishtayopi "Buddy" Jones and the Mouse Family; and her loyal dog-son, Chief; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Kayla was preceded in death by her grandparents, Vernon (Ruth) Doxtator and Sherman (Annette) Thomas; numerous aunts and uncles, along with several family members.
A Funeral Service with sharing of memories for Kayla will be held at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Ryan Funeral Home, De Pere, WI. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home following the service to 7 PM. The Oneida Singers will begin singing at 6:30 PM. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
