Keegan Doke, age 45, of Amber, Oklahoma sadly left our world on March 13th, 2025, after a life richly lived in service and kindness. Known for his kind, loving, caring and humorous personality, Keegan lived a life filled with tremendous passion and service towards others. Keegan was born on December 24, 1979 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Robert and Debbie Doke. He was raised and lived his whole life in the Amber, Oklahoma community. Keegan attended Amber-Pocasset schools and graduated in 1998. He went on to the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma to further his education and earned a bachelor's degree in business administration. Keegan owned and operated Cochran Abstract Company.
He and his wife Lydia were raising their six children together. Keegan was a family man and devoted his time to his wife and children. Keegan loved to travel with his family. He leaves behind a legacy of gentleness, kindness and the importance of having a servant's heart. He really embodied this by serving his wife and family each day. Keegan served as a deacon at First Baptist Church Pocasset and later joined Grand Assembly of God in Chickasha and attended faithfully with his family. Keegan's church family was very important to him and he spent many hours in prayer for the hurting and those in need. Keegan loved to serve on mission trips as often as he was able. He had a heart for spreading the love of Jesus to anyone he could, and this was evident in how he lived every day.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lowell Vernon Doke and Ivy Leinani Doke; his maternal grandparents Dale Howard Loggins and Wanda Gene Farmer Loggins and Henry Woodrow Farmer.
Loved ones left to remember him include his wife, Lydia; his children, Sydney, Aubrey, Wyatt, Aidan, Gabriel and Liam; his parents, Robert and Debbie Doke and Robin and Cyndi Edwards; his sister and brother-in-law, Kesha and Darin Harryman, his brother-in-law Michael Edwards and his brother-in-law William Edwards; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
With Keegan's sudden passing, all of us will mourn but many of us will mourn differently with the hope of knowing that we will see him again one day with our Lord and Savior. We will long for the resurrection and restoration of this world and for God to wipe away every tear. Come quickly Lord Jesus – bring your kingdom here.
A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 25th at the Grand Assembly of God Church in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
