Keith Allen

Keith Ray Allen, 69, died Monday, February 23, 2026 at Pioneer Manor in Hugoton, Kansas. He was born July 30, 1956 in Satanta, Kansas to Glen Edward and Vada Jo (Yeager) Allen.

Keith grew up in Sublette, Kansas, where he was active in 4-H and developed a lifelong appreciation for agriculture and rural community life. He attended Sublette schools and graduated from Sublette High School in 1974. He continued his education at Kansas State University, earning a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics.

Keith enjoyed farming and had a deep appreciation for all aspects of agriculture. He participated in the inaugural KARL (Kansas Agriculture and Rural Leadership), a two-year leadership program that connects people and challenges them to help transform organizations, communities, the state, and the world. He valued the relationships and experiences gained through that program.

Keith enjoyed attending car races, especially sprint car races, and was a devoted K-State Wildcat fan through and through. He also enjoyed cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs. In recent years, he found great enjoyment in playing bingo and visiting with friends.

He is survived by his children, Quenten Allen and wife Alejandra of Olathe, KS, and Devon Weldon and husband Todd of Plainview, TX; grandchildren, Crosston Weldon, Ella Allen, and Asher Weldon; his mother, Vada Jo Allen of Sublette, KS; sister, Thresa Reynolds and husband Jim of Copeland, KS; and niece, Denna Gonzalez and husband Isac of Dodge City, KS.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glen Allen; and a nephew, Tyler Reynolds.

Visitation will be from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Weeks Family Funeral Home & Crematory, with the family receiving friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m.

Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Sublette Christian Church with Pastor Mark Dierking officiating. Interment at Banner Cemetery following the service.
