Keith Allen Duren, beloved Husband, Dad, Grandfather, Brother and friend, age 70, of Hollywood, Arkansas passed away, surrounded by his family at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas on Friday, January 2, 2026.
Born on April 10, 1955 at Nashville, Arkansas to Harlon and Jean Cowart Duren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He attended Kirby Public School and was a member of the Class of 1973.
On November 20, 1986, he married the love of his life, Diane Lamm Duren.
He worked and retired from South Central Electric Cooperative in 2020.
Keith loved and enjoyed riding motorcycles, traveling, fast cars and music.
He was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Arkadelphia.
He lived a life centered on faith, service and love for his family and church. He fought the good fight, never gave up hope and always kept his faith.
Keith’s life will forever be cherished by his wife, Diane, of Hollywood, his sons, Wes Duren (Aeryn) of Bismarck and Cliff Duren (Sarah) of Ft. Smith. His granddaughter, Amelia (Mia) Duren of Ft. Smith. His sister, Lisa Duren of Kirby. Brother-in-Laws, Doug Lamm and Roy Lamm (Geneva). Sister-in-Laws, Kathy Cox (Bob) and Teresa Bokony and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Keith will be missed, but remembered for his kind heartedness, strength and love of life.
Pallbearers will be Wes Duren, Cliff Duren, Kevin Fant, Mike Davis, Doug Lamm and Roy Lamm.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at 2:00pm at Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. Robbie Horne officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 6 from 5:00–7:00pm at Smith Family Chapel.
Interment will be at Bear Creek Cemetery in Kirby.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Arkadelphia or Bear Creek Cemetery fund at P.O. Box 201 Kirby.
