Danville – Keith Hughes, age 62, passed away at home surrounded by his family on November 22, 2025.
Keith was the son of the late Gary and Suellen (Stachler) Durbin. He was born in Mount Vernon on August 18, 1963. He retired after 22 years as a Wendy's manager. Keith loved sports. Especially Ohio State and Danville Blue Devils football. He also enjoyed golf, fishing, and traveling to Gatlinburg, TN.
He is survived by his children, Michael Burson, Brittany (Ryan) Hughes, and Jordan Hughes all of Mount Vernon; grandchildren, Ben and Fin; brothers, Kevin Durbin, Kyle (Valerie) Hughes, Kirk (Tonya) Durbin, and Matt (Angie) Hughes; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at the Berean Faith Fellowship, where Keith was a proud member, at 103 Madison St. Mt. Vernon 43050, on Wednesday November 26 at 10:00 a.m. His good friend Pastor Gordy Harmon will officiate. Burial will follow in Workman Cemetery. Calling hours will take place at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville on Tuesday evening from 5-7:00.
