Brinkhaven – Jesse Wayne Zickefoose, 66, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 13, 2025.
He was born on March 31, 1959 in Buckhannon, WV to Wayne and the late Lou (Bosley) Geib. Jesse fought cancer for two years with no complaints, and didn’t expect any pity. He was a laid-back man who believed “everything will be alright”. Through the years, he always put family and friends first.
To capture who Jesse was, you cannot help but talk about his love of fishing, canning, bread making, and gaming. Always sharing those loves with his family and friends.
He is survived by his dedicated wife, Lesa; sisters, Sheila (Jack) Carson of Green River, WY, and Robin (Kirk) Judson of Killbuck; a brother, John (Heidi) Geib of Wooster; his father, Wayne of Green River, WY; step-children, Kane and Hollie Elliott; grandchildren, Sedona and Delia Elliott, and Stevie and AlesaAnn Rainer; great grandchildren, Kai and Oaklynn Arnold, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mom, he was preceded in death by a sister, Elaine Zickefoose.
