Keith R Hunter, Sr. passed away August 05, 2023 at his residence.
Keith Rene Hunter Sr. was born on October 3, 1962 to Willa Belle Humphrey. Keith received his education through the Des Moines Pubic School System and graduated from Des Moines Technical High School. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1981 to 1985 on the Air Craft Carrier, USS John Kennedy. After serving in the Navy, Keith worked for Oakridge Security. He later retired from Bridgestone/Firestone after over 30 years of service.
He found solitude in his own company. Although Keith was a quiet person, once he got to know you, Keith would talk your head off! He had a great sense of humor and was a really funny guy. He liked listening to 70’s soul and old school music. In his younger days, he loved to travel especially by boat.
Keith Rene Hunter Sr. passed away on August 5, 2023. He was preceded in death by his mother, Willa Belle Humphrey and brother, Kevin Hunter.
Those left to cherish Keith in memory are his children, Tierra Hobbs and Keith Hunter Jr.; sister, Dana Tate; and grandchildren, JaNialah Chiri, Quardae Chiri, Adonijah “Quart” Douglas and a host of extended family and friends.
