Keith (JR) Franklin Walker

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our Son, Brother, Uncle, Nephew and Friend. JR passed away at the age of 29. 

JR will be greatly missed by his Mother Wendy Walker and Father Keith Walker (Janet); sister Amanda ( Fred) Walker and brother Jordon (Brooke) Walker; Two Nieces and a Nephew, Eden, Samantha and Theodore; and his two loving dogs, Gryer and Asher;  

JR was born in Edmonton AB. He lived with his family in Spruce Grove until grade 1 before moving to Cochrane Alberta with his mother and siblings. JR enjoyed making friends and made them easily everywhere he went and was well known for his generosity and gentle heart. As a young boy JR would enjoy his time with his grandpa Elkin building go-carts and taking them to “heats”. He also loved to spend his time building and painting model airplanes and dreamt of becoming a pilot - well JR you got your wings! 

JR loved music and loved to play his guitar. In his teen years you would often find him busking downtown Cochrane or in his room happy to be singing his heart out. He enjoyed every moment spent with family and friends. He was our son and our brother and great one at that. We love you JR thank you for all the joy and memories that you brought into our lives. The sound of your work boots hitting the front steps will never be forgotten. 

JR is predeceased by his Grandfather Paul Elkin, Uncle Shawn and Aunt Anneke Elkin, Uncle Tenus Walker and his older brother Andrew Walker.
