Southport - Keith Raymond Kelley, born on February 4, 1957, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025, in Bolivia, North Carolina, at the age of 68.

Keith dedicated his professional life to serving his community and his faith. He retired as a lieutenant from the Connecticut State Marshals, where he was known for his unwavering commitment and leadership. His commitment to fairness and kindness was evident in his interactions with the public.

In addition to his distinguished career in law enforcement, Keith also served as a part-time minister, offering guidance, support and comfort to those in need.

He pursued higher education and earned an Associate's degree in Computer Science, which complemented his diverse career path.

Keith was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Kenneth Kelley and Jean Surrette Kelley.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Laurie Kelley; sons, Brian Kelley (Amanda) and Brandon Kelley; and three much-loved grandchildren; brother, Kevin Kelley; and sister, Kathleen Kelley Angelucci.

At this time, no services are scheduled. Keith will be remembered fondly by all who knew him, and his legacy of service and faith will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
