Keith Knox Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Benton County Funeral Home on Jan. 26, 2026.
Keith M. Knox 96 of Garfield passed away January 25, 2026, in Rogers. He was born on December 15, 1929, in LaRue, Arkansas, the son of Horace M. and Mary Bell Pittillo Knox. Keith retired in 1995 from the Benton County Road department after many years. He was an avid farmer, gardener, and woodworker. In his younger years he also enjoyed square dancing, fox hunting, playing cards & dominoes, and reading Louis L'Amour novels. Keith loved spoiling & teasing his wife Jean over the years and sharing his love of animals and gardening with his 4 children and numerous grandchildren. He taught all of us the importance of hard work, helping friends and neighbors, and always being there for family. Keith was a caring and devoted caregiver to his Mom, Mary Bell, for several years and again to his wife Jean in the last years of her life. Throughout his life he loved being outside, whether it was riding his buckskin horse Trixie as a young man to working on his farm as an adult. In later years he could be seen riding his 4-wheeler around the farm with his companion Little Dog. Keith will be remembered as a hard worker, caring neighbor, and devoted family man. He was loved by many and will be missed.

Preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lois "Jean" Knox, his siblings Nadine Taylor, Jack Knox and John Knox, son in law Larry Fulfer, grand-daughter Jennifer Harris and great-grandson Noah O'Neal.

He is survived by his daughter Roberta Fulfer of Rogers, daughter Connie Drymon (Sherman) of Rogers, son H.K. Knox (Dianne) of Rogers, son Mike Knox (Dianne Powell) of Avoca, eleven grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Benton County Funeral Home 306 N. 4th St Rogers, Arkansas. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Private family interment in the Martin Cemetery in LaRue, Arkansas. Online condolences can be sent to www.bentoncountyfuneralhome.com.
