Keith Lawrence Miller Sr., 67, of Highland, NY, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2025. Born on October 11, 1957, in Danbury, CT, Keith was the son of the late Keith Miller and Alice (Long) Gegney.
Keith worked the shipping and receiving docks at Rapid Electric in Brookfield helping send power and light all over the world, he spent many years on the road as a dedicated truck driver for Pony Express Courier Service. Then helped run the warehouse and did deliveries for Miller Paneling Services. He was a hardworking man who took pride in his work, and would go above and beyond to get the job done.
Keith was an avid fisherman, he took multiple fishing trips each year with his friends, and would fish on his own from sun up to sun down whenever he could. He loved going to concerts including Trans Siberian Orchestra, Darius Rucker, Sting, and many more. He loved sports, NASCAR, NFL, and MLB were some he loved to watch and attend.
Keith was instrumental in both establishing the Fellowship Center in Danbury and serving on the advisory board in several roles as President, Vice President, and member for many years. He was a fixture at Fellowship Center events, running the grill, helping with the poker run, and of course, the Super Bowl party. Always willing to lend a hand or a listening ear, he was consistently there for the newcomer and will be missed by many in the fellowship. His unwavering support and kindness have been a cornerstone and an example for the recovery community.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Susan Marie Howe-Miller, with whom he shared many loving years, and his sister Mary Beth Miller. Keith is survived by his daughter, Faith Ann Oltz, and his son, Keith Miller Jr.
Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Keith's life on Sunday, May 18, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Bethel Funeral Home located at 215 Greenwood Ave, Bethel, CT.
