Keith Leroy Stone, 90, a resident of the Forest Grove community, passed away on October 25, 2025.

Keith was born on July 8, 1935, in Newberg, OR He was one of three children born to Francis and Mildred (Cornwell) Stone. He was raised in Tualatin OR and attended Sherwood High School, while in school Keith participated in FFA, Sports and Public Speaking. He graduated with the Class of 1953.

Keith had worked in Construction most of his life. He began his career as a truck driver and equipment operator for A.W. Eaton Sand and Gravel in Tualatin OR. In 1953 when the family moved to Wallowa County, he then worked in the family business at Stones Sand and Gravel and Custom Concrete in Joseph OR from 1954 through 1964. He then worked in the Real Estate market in Grants Pass OR until 1972. He met his wife Linda Foster in Grants Pass and together they moved to Sacramento CA and founded Careers in Construction Vocational Rehabilitation School where he developed curriculum and taught construction estimating from 1972-2002. He retired in 2002 when Keith and Linda moved to Hebo OR. He enjoyed the outdoors including camping, rock hounding, and fishing. His passion for geology took him all around the western states to witness these natural wonders. Keith and Linda also enjoyed traveling having visited Oregon, California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and Hawaii. He and Linda enjoyed taking care of their beautiful yard and garden in Hebo.

Keith was fond of his grandchildren as well, following their lives through their personal achievements.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Linda, his parents Francis and Mildred, his brother Delbert and sister Janice.

He is survived by his four children, Gordon Stone of Hebo, OR, Greg and Judy Stone of Forest Grove, OR, Kevin Stone of Grants Pass, OR, Leah Stone of Medford, OR., their grandchildren Ryan, Timmy, Brooke, Jacob, Noel, Mckinsey, Matthew and Morgan. Ten great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren
