Keith Susany Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Neely Funeral Home on Dec. 10, 2025.
Keith Edward Susany, 65, of Glenshaw, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife, family, and close friends.
Keith was born on December 23, 1959, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late John A. Susany and the late Lois C. Susany. He grew up in Shaler and graduated from Shaler High School in 1978 before continuing his studies at the University of Pittsburgh.
Keith met the love of his life, Shirley Rohrman, on the ski slopes. Skiing quickly became one of their favorite things to share, and together they became active in the Pittsburgh Ski Club, where Keith later served as President for many years. He formed many lifelong friendships through those adventures.
He joined his father in the family business, Susany Contracting Inc., and eventually took over the company. Keith was known not only for the quality of his work but for the way he treated people. He had a steady, calm way about him and built lasting relationships through honesty, fairness, and genuine respect for others.
Keith was a devoted husband, a patient listener, and a loyal friend. He had a gift for offering quiet guidance, a well-timed joke, or a story that made a tough day easier. And if you ever played music trivia with him, you learned quickly that he could leave anyone in the dust. His love of music and his incredible recall were legendary among friends.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Shirley Rohrman; his brother, John A. Susany Jr. (and the late Peggy Susany); Terry Pease (Marlin); Scott Susany; Eric Susany; four nieces and nephews; and three grandnieces and grandnephews.
In a final act of generosity, Keith donated his body to the University of Pittsburgh to support research and help others in the future.
He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
No visitation, A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

So many fun memories of Keith at Lake Tahoe (didn´t he jump into the hot tub in his ski outfit?), at Chatauqua, at Myrtle Beach (he created the Dream Week, we couldn´t compete with his brothers at golf, passing the Goldenschlager sitting on the beach one night). My sympathy to Shirley and his family. May he rest in peace.

To Shirley and family, our sincere condolences. We have many fond PSC memories - on the slopes, on the beaches of Myrtle, on the golf course. And Keith did amazing work remodeling my kitchen. He will be truly missed.
