RICHVILLE – Keitha R. Mullin, age 91, formerly of Richville, died on January 19, 2023 at United Helpers in Canton.
Services for Keitha will be later in the Spring. Arrangements are with French Funeral Home, Gouverneur. Condolences may be shared online at www.frenchfuneralhomes.com.
Mrs. Mullin was born in DePeyster on September 5, 1931, daughter of Norman and Jennie May (Youngs) Reynolds. She attended rural schools in the Town of DeKalb and graduated from Gouverneur High School in 1948. She was employed by Attorney Max Levinson, Gouverneur Savings and Loas Assn, Nelson, Pangle & Battersby, and Nelson, Battersby & Nelson. From 1963 to her retirement in 1986 she was employed by Key Bank (formerly First National Bank) in several departments, retiring as an Operations Officer. For a number of years, she also worked as Auction Clerk for both Don Peck, Sr. and Jr.
She had been active in Fowler PTA and PTA Council, Gouverneur Community Players, Gouverneur Business Women, NYS Assn. of Women Bankers, Trustee and Treasurer of Gouverneur Reading Room Assn., Trustee and Treasurer of Richville Free Library, Treasurer of St. Lawrence County March of Dimes, a long-time member of the Board of Directors of E.J. Noble Hospital Auxiliary, serving two terms as President and several terms as Treasurer. She served three 3-yr. terms as a member of the HANYS Committee on Healthcare Auxiliaries and was awarded the VFW Good Citizen Award in 1994. She was also a member of the First United Methodist Church of Gouverneur.
She married Richard Yerdon on July 8, 1951. This marriage ended in divorce in 1980. She married Keith Rosenbarker on December 23, 1983. Keith died on February 6, 1999. She married John Mullin on March 17, 2001 and this marriage ended in divorce in 2004.
She is survived by 4 sons and a daughter-in-law, Peter J. Yerdon of Potsdam, John Yerdon, Bill Yerdon both of Gouverneur, Tom and Cindy Yerdon of Fulton; a daughter and son-in-law, Dianne Yerdon Murphy of Leominster, MA,, 3 stepsons and step-daughters-in-law, Steve and Dinah Rosenbarker of Milton, FL, Mark and Jennifer Rosenbarker of Gouverneur and Michael and Kimberly Rosenbarker of Green Cove Springs, FL, 2 step-daughters and 2 stepsons-in-law, Karen and Jerry Lancto of Gouverneur and Valerie and Todd Daniels of Milwaukee, WI, and 7 grandchildren, 14 step-grandchildren, one great-grandchild and 4 step-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by an infant son, Andrew, a daughter, Jane Rue, brothers, Homer Reynolds, Victor Reynolds, Ernest Reynolds, Kenneth Reynolds, and sisters, Ina Reynolds Rotundo and Leona Reynolds.
Donations may be made to the Gouverneur Hospital Auxiliary or the Richville Free Library.
