Kellen Latrice Ali, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Temple Hills, Maryland, on August 14, 2025, at the age of 40.

Born Kellen Latrice Evans to Janice Evans-Mcfadden and Lloyd Christopher Snowden on January 10, 1985, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, she was later raised in New Jersey by her mother and stepfather, Alfred McFadden.

Kellen dedicated her life to teaching and uplifting others. After graduating from Grand Canyon University in 2014 with a degree in Early Childhood Education, she went on to become a cherished 4th-grade teacher at Imagine Lincoln Charter School in Prince George's County. Known for her devotion to her students, she consistently earned the highest ratings from classroom auditors and made an indelible impact on countless young lives.

Kellen's spirit was bright and magnetic. She was creative, energetic, and unapologetically herself, whether planning parties, hunting for bargains, or spending hours catching up with loved ones on the phone. She had a gift for bringing people together, volunteering her time for her children and the community, and lifting others up, even when it meant giving more than she had. Her laughter, warmth, and ability to light up a room will forever be remembered by those blessed to know her.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Royal S. Evans, Mary C. Evans, Jonnie Snowden, and Josie Snowden.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Azure Konane Ali; her three precious daughters, Kayla, Amaris, and Zaria Ali; her mother, Janice McFadden; father, Alfred McFadden; brothers Dimitric Evans and Alex Young; sisters Ginese Evans, Crystal Alisha Miles (Marquis), Javana Snowden, Candise Williams, Kourtney Snowden, and Tashara Snowden; along with six aunts, three uncles, seventeen nieces, ten nephews, and a host of cousins, family, and friends who loved her dearly.

Kellen's favorite saying, "That's why you bald headed," will forever echo in the hearts of those who cherished her. Her brilliance, ingenuity, and love will live on through the many lives she touched.
