With Love and Light – Honoring Kelley Worth
It’s with full hearts and deep sadness that we share the passing of our dear friend, Kelley Worth, who transitioned to the afterlife on Sunday, May 25, 2025.
Kelley is now reunited with her beautiful daughter, Aleia, and her loved ones in spirit.
Kelley helped to start Helping Parents Health (HPH) WNC group in March 2023, creating a warm, welcoming space for parents to connect, learn, and heal. She brought parents together, invited inspiring speakers, and reminded us – just by being herself – that they aren’t alone. We will always be grateful for Kelley’s loving and caring heart.
She was also an active part of the HPH Suicide Group, led HPH Art Therapy sessions, and co-facilitated the HPH New Member group. With her counseling background, a big heart, and a candid sense of humor, Kelley helped light the way for so many people on this path.
It was often shared with her, “I couldn’t have done this without you.” I know many of you feel the same way. Kelley was our momma bear, our friend, and our cheerleader who taught so many of us how to connect with our kids in spirit.
We’ll miss her deeply, but we’ll keep her with us – in our stories, in our laughter, in the way we show up for each other. Her light is not gone, it’s just changed form.
Yasss Queen! We love you, Kelley!
The gathering of friends will be held at the Beaverdam Community Cemetery pavilion from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, Saturday, June 7, 2025. A service to share stories and memories will follow at 1:00 pm at Beaverdam United Methodist Church.
Surviving Kelley are her husband, Rob Worth; cats, Midnight and Stewie; and dogs, Zeus and Apollo.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Kelley Worth to Give to the Music in honor of The Aleia Worth Scholarship online at www.givetothemusic.org or by calling (828) 252-1888.
The care of Mrs. Worth has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Canton.
