Kelly Cahill

Frances C. Cahill, beloved naval wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of October 10th.

She was a woman of quiet strength, unwavering devotion, and boundless love. Her life was a testament to resilience, especially as a Naval wife raising 4 children, and the joy found in family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lionel Cahill, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, lots of laughter, and unwavering devotion, cherished children Dana Trail and Scott Cahill, her beloved grandson Thomas Trail, and her dear sisters Coleene Miller and Barbara Mang.

She leaves behind a legacy of love through her surviving children: daughter Kim Martin and her husband Mike Martin, and son Robert Cahill and his wife Diane Cahill. Her heart overflowed with pride for her 11 grandchildren-Steve, Robert, Gina, Maria, Renee, Paul, Erin, Ryan, Casey, Michael, and Jessica-each of whom she adored deeply. Her joy multiplied with the arrival of 15 great-grandchildren, whose laughter and presence lit up her days. She is also survived by her loving sisters Sharon Riddle and Arlene Harmon, whose bond with her was a source of strength and comfort throughout her life.

Her memory will live on in her great sense of humor, her laughter, the stories she told, the traditions she passed down, and the love she gave so freely. She will be missed beyond measure and remembered with gratitude and affection by all who knew her.

A private family gathering will be held to honor her life and legacy on November 21, 2025 where she will be reunited with her husband.
