Kelly Lynn Canavan, a talented chef who had a deep passion for cooking, passed away on April 22, 2024, in Waterloo, Iowa. She was born on September 24, 1959, in Georgia.

Kelly's love for culinary arts not only filled the stomachs of those around her but also warmed their hearts. Her creativity in the kitchen knew no bounds, and her dishes were always prepared with love and care.

She is survived by her loving family: Malinda Van Hauen, Julie and Timothy Steinmeyer, Amber Shoaf (her daughters), and Ashlinn, Tristan, and Ryan (her grandchildren). In addition to her family, Kelly leaves behind Janice Lee, a dear friend who was like a mother to her.

Kelly will always be remembered for her delicious creations that brought joy to many. Her legacy in the culinary world will live on through the memories she created with each meal shared.

May she rest in peace. Kelly Lynn Canavan will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
