Born on January 11, 1976 in Lafayette, Louisiana, Kelly lived life with passion, grit, and an adventurous spirit. He was an avid motorcycle rider who found freedom on the open road, and his happiest days were spent outdoors, especially on the water redfishing. His love for the ride and the reel reflected his zest for life—always chasing the next horizon, whether it was a winding highway or a quiet bend in the bayou.
Kelly will be remembered for his big heart, easy smile, and the way he could make a friend anywhere he went. His family and friends will miss his stories, his laughter, and the warmth he brought to every gathering.
He is survived by his spouse Lauren Cormier, his mother Donna Landry, two brothers David Cormier & Linton Cormier Jr., and his sisters Dana Maxcy, Sandra Jones, Brenda Miller and Lisa Cormier.
Kelly was preceded in death by his father, Linton Cormier; and two brothers, Ricky Joseph Cormier and Jerry Anthony Cormier.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Hebert, Matthew Vigneaux, David Cormier, Dean Patin, Wade Davis, and Ricky Cormier. Honorary Pallbearers are Lauren Tarbutton, Casie Davis, Dustin Quebedeaux, and Wayne Quebedeaux.
