Kelly Grace McClintock, age 60, Hot Springs, AR, peacefully passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 29, 2024 in Joplin.
Kelly was born on December 13, 1964 in Georgetown, OH. She was the daughter of the late Lowell Mason and Judy (Jones) Mason. Kelly grew up in a musical family traveling and singing across the United States, Jamaica, and Mexico. Her love of music continued throughout her life. She graduated from Central Christian Academy in Joplin and then attended Draughn Business College. In 1990, she married Bradley McClintock, son of Kenny and Sharon McClintock. In 2000, Kelly, Brad and their young son, Jude, moved to Hot Springs, AR. Kelly was an active member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church where she held several positions over the years, including but not limited to; taking after-hours calls for last rites, funerals, weddings, church and community events. Always concerned and caring for others, she was involved with many activities to help the homeless in the area. Kelly helped with The Society of St. Vincent DePaul outreach and food pantry when it was at St. Johns. For several years, she was on the RCIA team along with teaching children Religious Education and teaching at VBS. Kelly enjoyed Crochet, thrifting, reading, and conversation. Kelly's joyous, charismatic personality and caring spirit drew people to her, creating instant friendships. She will be greatly missed by many.
In addition to her father, Kelly was preceded in death by her husband, Bradley McClintock.
Kelly's family was very important to her. She is survived by many who love her dearly.
Survivors include her son, Jude McClintock of Hot Springs, AR; mother, Judy Mason of Carl Junction. MO; brother, Duke Mason and wife Stephanie of Webb City, MO; sisters, Kathy Mason of Webb City, MO; Kristy Bemis and husband Darren of San Antonio, TX; and life-long best friend, Nanda Nunnelly-Sparks of Duquesne, MO.
One of her greatest joys was being "Aunt Kelly" to nieces and nephews: Cory Emmert and wife Sheree; Kayleigh Tandy and husband Chris; Malarie Bemis; Alyssa Bemis; Lauren Carter and husband Jacob; Katherine Carson and husband Daniel; Devlin Bemis; Raulie Bemis; Khloe Bemis. Great nieces and nephews: Colton Emmert; Baylee Emmert; Bentley Emmert; Carter Tandy; Colby Tandy; Emaleigh Tandy; Dakota Carson; Tatum Carson. God-children: Anissa Vylonis; Jorn Vylonis and wife Michelle; Zarah Vylonis and husband Fabian.
A graveside service will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery, Webb City, MO.
A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Hot Springs, AR.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
