Stephanie Rolf McClintock was born on September 18, 1965, in Waco, Texas, to Anita and Howard Rolf. She passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025. Stephanie is survived by her husband of 37 years, Roy McClintock; her three children, Andrew (25), Lauren (22), and Anna (22); her father, Howard Rolf; her brother, Jim Rolf; and her sisters, Jennifer Dietze and Rhonda Rolf. Stephanie graduated from Midway High School as valedictorian of her class in 1983. She pursued her passion for knowledge at Baylor University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics in 1988 with honors. She furthered her education with a Master of Business Administration from Texas Tech University. In 1988, Stephanie married Roy McClintock. Early in her marriage, she taught middle school and high school mathematics before transitioning to a career as a real estate broker. After becoming a mother, Stephanie devoted herself to raising her three children, instilling in them the values of kindness and service. She was a tireless volunteer. She served as president of the Moore Middle School and Robert E. Lee High School PTAs, championing education and fostering community spirit. As president of the Smith County Medical Society Alliance, she advocated for healthcare initiatives in Tyler. A devoted member of First Baptist Church, Stephanie served on multiple committees and taught Mission Friends, nurturing young hearts with lessons of faith and compassion until her health prevented her from continuing. Stephanie, a godly woman, lived a life of faith, love, and self-discipline, embodying the call to "run her race well" (2 Timothy 4:7). As a loyal wife, devoted mother, and cherished daughter and sister, she nurtured her family with wisdom, tenderness, and self-sacrificing love, instilling her values through daily acts of care. Her commitment to Christ was marked by humble, joyful service. She ran her race well. Visitation will be held at Stewart Family Funeral Home, Tyler, on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church, Tyler, on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to First Baptist Church Tyler Children's Ministry, 301 W. Ferguson Ave., Tyler, TX 75702, or the Baylor University Howard and Anita Rolf Endowed Mathematics Scholarship Fund (bbis.baylor.edu/give).
