It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kathryn Amaya Klemm on August 20, 2025 in Tyler. Kathryn ("Katy, Katy Bug, Kat") was born in Tyler, Texas on September 26th, 1988, to Nancy and Charles ("Chip") Harris. Katy was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 2007 and attended Tyler Junior College. Katy was a radiant soul whose presence lit up every room she entered. Known for her kindness, integrity, and adventurous spirit, Katy embraced life with open arms and an open heart. Katy's family and friends were the very center of her world. She lived for the people she loved, and her devotion to them was unwavering. For all that truly knew her, she carried both great joy and deep sorrow in her heart - grieving the loss of her father and brother while still pouring love and laughter into the lives of those around her. To her friends, Katy was a light - pure fun wrapped in kindness. She had a playful, energetic spirit that could turn an ordinary night into a memory you'd be laughing about for years. Mischievous in the best way, she always brought the fun, the laughter, and the little surprises that made life unforgettable. In Brian, Kat found her soulmate - a love that was unwavering and true. They married April 20, 2023. Together they built a partnership that reflected the very best of her: adventurous, full of laughter, and deeply rooted in devotion. They were good for each other. Their individual strengths helped fill the gaps of the other. They moved back to Tyler and started memories in their first house together. Katy entered into the arms of Jesus, where she was reunited with her father, Charles ('Chip') Harris, her brother, Andrew Harris, and her grandparents and family members who went to join the Lord before her. Katy is survived by her beloved husband, Brian Klemm; her loving mother, Nancy Harris; her brother, Jordan Harris (Casey); her parents-in-law, Jeff and Linda Klemm; her brother-in-law, Travis Klemm (Dayle); and numerous friends who were just like family. Her spirit will live on in the countless lives she touched. A service celebrating Kathryn's life will be held August 30, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway in Tyler, with Minister Kevin Burdette officiating. Following the service will be an informal time to visit with the family.

Sweet Nancy, my heart is feeling your loss as of parents we do not anticipate our children going before us. We do not understand God´s hand in our lives but trust his heart. As I, and so many more have walked your path will lift you up in prayer and thoughts for these coming days. It doesn´t get "easier, it just gets tolerable."
Love you much.
