Keith E. Klemm Sr.

Keith Edward Klemm Sr. was born on April 16, 1940 in Saginaw, MI to the late Bertrum and Mina Klemm. He was a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Navy from 1958-1962, enlisting when he was just 18 years old. His ship toured the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Keith then worked for Consumer's Energy for 38 ½ years until his retirement in July of 2002. He was the member of the American Legion, Post 253, R.O. He enjoyed yard work, woodworking, road trips, and spending time with family. On April 11, 1964, Keith married the late Patricia L. Klemm (previously Nunzio), and together they built a family and shared 50 years together. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife on September 30, 2014. Keith was the loving father of Keith E. Klemm Jr. (Cheryl) of Warren, MI and Kevin A. Klemm of Bloomfield Hills, MI; proud grandfather of Joshua Klemm (Jessica) of Wolverine Lake, MI and Katelynn Klemm-Szeto (Ray) of North Brunswick, NJ; overjoyed great-grandfather of Isabella and Leonardo Klemm; and dear brother of Richard Klemm (late Rosemarie) of Bonita Springs, FL, Bertram Klemm (Louise) of Sterling Heights, MI, and Fred Klemm (Debbie) of Maricopa, AZ. The visitation will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Road (4 blocks east of Woodward), Royal Oak. The funeral service will be Saturday, September 6, 2026 at 10:00 am at the funeral home, with the burial following at Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak.
