Cherished husband of Louise for 51 wonderful years. Beloved father of Jason (Rachel) and Christopher (Laura). Proud grandfather of Adam, Logan, Thor and Benjamin. Dear brother of Tina, Jeff (Alejandro), Olive Ann (Melvin) Schoppmann, Kathleen (David) Collins, Oliver and Daniel (Jennifer). Loving son of Lewis and Mary.
Kelly was born in Amarillo, Texas. His father, Lewis served in the United States Airforce, which moved their family around the beautiful Rocky Mountain Area. Kelly proudly followed after his father and also served with the USAF. At 15 he met his high school sweetheart, Louise. They shared 51 wonderful years of marriage and raised their family. Kelly graduated from Weber State University. Kelly served as a sealer in the Detroit Temple. In his free time, Kelly loved vacationing through the mountains of Utah and woodworking. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at 10:00am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1610 Brewster Rd., Rochester, Michigan 48306. Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery. Share memories with the family at their "On-Line Guestbook" @ WujekCalcaterra.com
