Kelly Ann Powers, 45, of Colts Neck, died on Sunday, December 1.
Kelly was born in Yonkers, NY to Joan Marie and Joseph Powers. She attended St. Bartholomew's School, and went on to graduate from the Academy of Our Lady of Good Counsel High School. Kelly studied undergrad at Baruch College in New York. She then pursued her medical school training at New York College of Podiatric Medicine, followed by a Master of Science degree at the University of San Francisco. She then attended Georgetown and Boston Universities for her residency programs. She and her husband married and began their family in Colts Neck.
She was a brave and beautiful soul who could make friends anywhere she went. Kelly had a love for people and she was dedicated to helping others. She held many hobbies including gardening, surfing, ballet, biking, running, horseback riding, travel, and several more activities. Kelly was an accomplished doctor and surgeon who held several spotlights on TV and magazines. Most important to her was her family.
She is survived by her husband, Steven Doll, her son Bennett, her parents, and her mother and father-in-laws Daniel and Laraine Doll.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5 from 4pm – 8pm at Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 S. Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A funeral service will be offered on Friday, December 6 at 11 am at Tower Hill Church, Red Bank. Burial will follow at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.
In lieu of traditional remembrances, Kelly's family asks with gratitude that donations in her memory be made to Stache Strong ()
