It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved daughter, who left us unexpectedly on Friday, March 31st. Kelsey was a young woman who kept us on our toes from the time of her birth and taught us more than we could imagine about unconditional love and eternal hope. As parents, we have known the deepest joys of life and sorrows of loss.
Kelsey Lauren Christopher was born on September 1, 2001, and grew up in Dacula, Ga. Although God granted her a miniature stature, He harnessed her with endless energy, incredible spunk, and a giant love for adventure. Countless giggles tied her to family members near and far, and for Kelsey, there was nothing she loved more than the promises that friendship could hold.
Kelsey will be deeply missed by each of us - her parents, Jason & April, brother, Blake, grandparents, Marvin & Linda Lee, Janette McManners, and John & Linda Christopher, and her numerous friends and family.
Although her time with us here on earth was altogether too short, we know that Kelsey's story is far from over. There are many lives still to be impacted by her beautiful smile and the legacy that will come from her experiences. God now has the pen, and we are preparing for the next chapters in her beautiful book of life.
Enjoy the hugs of your heavenly father until we can share embraces with you again, sweet Kelsey. We love you whole bunches & forever.
Please join our family in remembering the beauty of our daughter.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 10th, from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Road SW, Lawrenceville, GA.
In addition, a Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, April 11th at 2:00 p.m. at Little Mulberry Park, 3855 Fence Road NE, Dacula, GA. Our gathering will take place at both the large pavilion near the entrance and in a chosen celebration spot in the park. Follow signs and guides. Please come as you are.
In lieu of flowers, our family genuinely requests that you make an intentional effort to share a special activity, outing, or day with your child or family in honor of Kelsey and our family. It is our hope that through these moments, each of you can be reminded of how much you are loved and how precious every second of life can be. After, we would really love to hear about your experience together and even see a picture of you and your loved one. Please email us at [email protected] to share your story.
