Tyrone Lewis Christopher

With both heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we announce the passing of Tyrone Lewis Christopher, who died peacefully on June 19, 2025, at the age of 84.
A man of quiet strength, steady wisdom, and boundless dedication, Tyrone leaves behind a legacy rooted in hard work, compassion, and unwavering love-a legacy that continues to inspire everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Born to Winfred and Ernestine Christopher, Tyrone was a lifelong student of both people and solutions. He built a respected career in the concrete business, where his practical insight, deep knowledge, and unparalleled problem-solving skills earned him the trust and admiration of colleagues and customers alike. Whether at a job site or seated around the kitchen table, Tyrone had an uncanny ability to cut through noise with calm, clear thinking; delivering clarity and consensus.
Tyrone was preceded in death by his beloved wife of nearly 55 years, Marcia, as well as by his parents. Even after losing Marcia and while facing serious health challenges of his own, Tyrone remained deeply committed to his family, looking forward to Sunday dinners and cherishing time with his loved ones.
He is survived by his two sons, Kevin Christopher (Devon) and Ty Christopher (Meredith); his grandsons, Collin and Robert Christopher; his sisters, Patricia Perryman (Larry) and Liz DeLeon; and a large and loving extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends-all of whom were touched by his quiet presence, steady encouragement, and unmistakable love. Family was the heart of Tyrone's world, and he was never more at peace than when surrounded by those he held dear.
Those who knew Tyrone will remember his extraordinary patience in the face of stress, his dry and sometimes mischievous sense of humor, and his remarkable gift for soothing tension with a few well-chosen words. He led not with grand gestures but through daily acts of integrity, kindness, and humility-showing us all what it truly means to live a good life.
His absence leaves an ache that words cannot fully express. But his spirit lives on in the lessons he taught, the love he gave, and the stories we'll tell for years to come.
He was deeply loved. He will be deeply missed.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday June 25th from 4-6. Funeral Service followed by interment will take place at 10am on Thursday June 26th.
