Kelsie "Buster" Robinson

Kelsie "Buster" Robinson entered his heavenly home on October 2, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kelsie M. Robinson, and mother, Essie Lyda Robinson. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Frances Pressley, Beatrice Michelsen, and Joe Robinson.

Buster is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Judy Shirlen Robinson; his son, Jim Robinson (Carolyn) of Greer, SC; and daughter, Kathy Pruitt (Jeff) of Swannanoa, NC.

He was a proud Papaw to Jennifer Parker (fiancé Michael), Amy Hall (Cody), Elena Robinson, and Will Robinson (Grace). His greatest joy came from his great-grandchildren, Raelynn and Easton Hall.

Buster is also survived by several nieces and nephews and was affectionately known as "Papaw" to many others.

Buster was a devoted family man with the most caring heart. Most importantly, he knew his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His faith was unshakable. He loved the church and God's people, never hesitating to share the Gospel. He could often be found reading his Bible, playing his guitar or piano, and singing praises to the Lord.

He shared a love of golf with his son, Jim, and grandson, Will, and he especially loved spending time at the campground, where many cherished memories were made with family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Well done, good and faithful servant.

The service will be held at Harwood Home for Funerals in Black Mountain, NC on Sunday, October 5th, with visitation from 1–2 PM and the funeral service beginning at 2 PM, followed by a graveside service at Sky View Memorial Park. Officiating the service will be Rev. Ken Jenkins and Rev. Danny Sprinkle.
