Ken Broe, 67, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025.
Memorial Service: 4:00 PM, Thursday, March 6, 2025, at The Oasis Church, DFW, 801 South Collins Street, Arlington, TX., 76010. There will be a visitation held from 3:00-4:00 PM prior to the service.
Ken was born in Cando, North Dakota to Harlynd Leroy and Arlene Tanglen Broe.
He graduated from Faribault Senior High in Minnesota in 1976. He went on to community college to become a meat cutter and a chef. Ken was raised a hard worker, starting a paper route at age 12. Ken had a shop in his garage where he enjoyed woodworking and crafts. He often went antiquing, looking for furniture that he could restore or rebuild. He was creative man and played harmonica and guitar. Ken had a gift of making people feel special, like they could do anything.
He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Barb and Connie; brother-in-law, Kevin; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Survivors: Wife, Shelly; son, Eric (Ashley);son, Ramon, Jr. and girlfriend Yadira; son, Kassiel; daughter, Steph; grandchildren, Gunnar, Nile, Athena and Daliah; sister, Diane; many nieces and nephews; and brother-in law, Jim.
