Gertraud Broe Obituary
Gertraud M. Broe nee Schmal, age 81, late of Tinley Park, IL, passed away October 25, 2025. Gertraud and her late husband Bruce started their own cleaning service and later in life opened up a tribune agency. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed planting flowers. Gertraud loved spending time shopping at various stores. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially with her daughter Leana. She will be greatly missed.
Beloved wife of the late Bruce Allen Broe Sr. Loving mother of Leana Broe and the late Bruce Broe Jr. Caring sister of Roswitha. Dear daughter of the late Josepf and Christine Schmal. Kind aunt of several nieces and nephews
Visitation, Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Chapel Service at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 17248 S. Harlem Ave. Tinley Park, IL 60477.
