Ken A. Brooks, age 76 of Eastlake, peacefully passed away August 4th, 2025 at Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland surrounded by his family. He was born February 21st, 1949 in Cleveland, to the late Ken and Jeanette Brooks.
Ken retired in 2012 as a Tool Builder for Stanley Tools after 31 years of service.
Ken was an avid Cleveland Indians fan. He was a member of the Lakeshore Live Steamers at Penitentiary Glen in Kirtland. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Ken was the loving husband of 58 years to Belinda Brooks (nee Bruce); beloved father of David Brooks and Keri (Joe Shaeffer) Brooks; dearest grandfather of Annie, Gracie and Ryan; brother of JoAnne Brooks; son-in-law of the late Annie Kaiser; brother-in-law of Rosemarie (Bill) Krause, Darlene (Bob–deceased) Eden and the late Michael (Rita) Bruce; uncle to many nieces and nephews.
The Brooks family will receive family and friends from 4:00 – 6:30 PM Sunday, August 10th, 2025 at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:30PM Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lakeshore Live Steamers, 9087 Little Mountain Rd., Mentor OH 44060.

I was sad to hear of Kenny´s passing. Growing up in Wickliffe we had a double family house and Kenny and his family lived upstairs from us. Lost touch over the years, but thoughts about the Brooks family would pop up once in a while. His mother was my Girl Scout Leader.
