Kenneth Edward Doerr (Ken), age 86 of Arlington, Texas passed away on August 5, 2025. He was born April 8,1939 to Eddie and Mildred Doerr in Kirkwood, Missouri.
Ken is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nancy Doerr; his children, Donna Doerr (Mike), Vicki Murphy (Joe) and Steve Doerr (Lisa); grandchildren Michelle Murphy, Alexis Doerr Joseph (Michael), Meisha, lifelong friend Dave Johnson, longtime friend Cindy, and brother Barry Doerr (Diane).
Great grandchildren include Cameron, Melissa Grace, Layne, Owen and Jackson Jacobs.
Ken retired as a Master Sergeant after 22 years in the US Air Force. He also served as a loan officer once he retired from the military. Ken volunteered at Cook Children’s Hospital for too many hours to count. He was honored with the Golden Heart award as well as a Lifetime Achievement for his volunteer efforts.
Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m.,Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
