Ken (Kenneth) Kendall Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 15, 2025.
If you are reading this, just know that Ken is looking over your shoulder, reading it too. He was an avid newspaper reader, cover to cover each morning and the obituary section was always his favorite.

Ken Kendall passed away in his home on December 28, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Colleen, whom he loved passionately. He is also survived by his 3 daughters: Krista of Encinitas CA, Annie of Spokane WA and Charleen of Spokane WA and his 7 grandchildren.

Ken lived his life by the beat of his own drum. Growing up in San Jose CA and then moving to Spokane in the early 70s. He was a lover of the ocean, tequila, tinkering and dogs. He only worked when he wanted to and played every chance he got. It was always 5 o'clock somewhere. He was an eccentric artist. Anyone who knew Ken, loved him. He was a talker and always had a story. He was a VW mechanic for over 20 years, a general contractor, a pilot and last but definitely not least, he was an artist in the medium of graphic design and sign making. He was passionate about whatever he did. He never talked about retiring because he was always doing something he loved. Ken will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him. And we hope everyone thinks of him every time they read the obit section of the newspaper.
