Ken Tinkham, 81, Sheffield, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025. The funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 7, at Our Lady of the Shoals Catholic Church, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Father Benny Karimalikkal will officiate. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
Ken was a native of Jackson, Michigan. He moved to the Shoals area after his retirement and was a member of Our Lady of the Shoals Catholic Church, Tuscumbia. Ken was an avid golfer and loved Mississippi State and Detroit Lions football. He was a supporter of Tunnel to Towers and donated generously. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Margaret Tinkham; and grandson, Owen Tinkham.
Ken is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Rita Tinkham; children, Pamela Pugh and Doug Tinkham; brother, Hank Tinkham; sister, Harriett Videto; grandchildren, Ivy Page, Holly Srncik, and Cori Cruiz; great-grandchildren, Georgia Page and Luke Page; several nieces and nephews; and Zinni.
