With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Kendra Mae Farler, our shining little star, who left us too soon early Sunday afternoon, April 14, 2024. Born on August 13, 2008, in Dayton, Ohio, Kendra was the heart and soul of our family, embodying a spirit full of joy, curiosity, and creativity. As a student, she was not just a learner, but a tiny professor, always eager to share her newfound knowledge and discoveries. Her laughter was infectious, her energy boundless, and her kindness a beacon of warmth to everyone around her. As Helen Keller once said, "What we have once enjoyed deeply, we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us."
Kendra leaves behind a loving family who cherished her deeply: her father, Kenneth Farler III and stepmother Jennifer Slorp; sisters Lily and Piper; brothers James Randall and Wyatt; grandmothers Brenda Coleman and Kimberly Feltner; grandpas Kenneth Farler II, Tony Feltner and Jesse Sampson; aunts Ashley Lunsford, Sandra Grimes, Chante Feltner and Staisha Phelps; uncles James Farler and Gregory Sampson; as well as cousins Diamond, Mackenzy, Cassidy, Jaley, Madison, James Jr, Kamron, Jordan, Brianna, Breanna, Bailey, Jason Jr, Clayton, Kevin and Keiayla. Each one of them played a significant role in shaping Kendra's short but vibrant life.
She was welcomed in heaven by her mother, Jessica Sampson and grandmother Tina Farler who preceded her in death. Kendra's life was a testament to the power of love and family, and her absence leaves a void that can never be filled.
We invite you to remember Kendra with us. Visitation will be held at the Schlientz & Moore Funeral Home, 1632 Wayne Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, 45410, on Monday, April 22, 2024, at 12:00pm EDT. Following the visitation, a graveside service will be held at Miami Valley Memory Gardens at 2:00pm EDT. We are grateful to the Schlientz & Moore Funeral Home for their compassionate care and support during this difficult time.
Kendra's life was a brief gift to us all, and she left us with nothing but beautiful memories. As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate her life, remembering her not with sadness, but with the joy, laughter, and love she brought to our lives.
Condolences, fond memories and photos may be shared at www.DaytonFunerals.com as a tribute to our precious Kendra.
