Kenneth Wayne Anderson, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on August 7, 2025, in Jackson, Tennessee, surrounded by his loving wife and family. Born on October 19, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois, Kenneth spent his formative years developing interests and passions that would define a life of dedication and joy.
Kenneth enjoyed a distinguished career as a radiology technician for 40 years, 30 of which he worked at West TN Healthcare, where he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues and the trust of countless patients. His professional journey was marked by a strong commitment to his work and an unwavering focus on providing quality care.
Beyond his career, Kenneth had a zest for life that resonated with everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was a friend to all, known for his silly personality and ability to bring laughter to gatherings, especially when entertaining his grandchildren with stories and playful antics. These cherished moments fostered close bonds with his family and friends, leaving a lasting impression on all who encountered his warmth.
Kenneth was also an avid car enthusiast, taking pride in restoring a 1967 cherry red Chevy Chevelle, a testament to his meticulous nature and passion for craftsmanship. His love for this classic car mirrored his appreciation for timeless joys in life.
For 46 wonderful years, Kenneth was married to his loving wife, Renee, with whom he shared three children and six grandchildren. He was immensely proud of his family, embodying the role of a devoted husband and father. His love and commitment to his family were evident in every aspect of his life.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Renee; children, Kenneth Brett Anderson (Laura), Leah Baldwin (Drew), and Rebekah Deines (Sean); mother, Ouida Anderson; brother, Loyd Glen Anderson (Vicki); and grandchildren, Boone Baldwin, Anna Belle Baldwin, Barrett Baldwin, Truett Baldwin, Adalynn Anderson, and Aubrey Anderson. He was preceded in death by his father, Loyd George Anderson.
A graveside service to honor Kenneth Wayne Anderson will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens & Mausoleum in Paducah, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Meridzo Ministries -The Farm at https://www.meridzo.org/contact-us or by mail to P.O. Box 425, Lynch, KY 40855.
Kenneth's legacy of love, humor, and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
