Kenneth Auchard, a lifelong resident of
Manteca, California, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 26, 2025 at the age of 51. Born on October 9, 1973, Kenny was known for his vibrant personality, deep love for people, and the joy he brought to every room he entered.
He is survived by his father Dennis, his stepmother Pat, and his sister Sandra Mercer (Steve). He also leaves behind his beloved uncles and aunts: Doug and Joyce Auchard, Dave and Debbie Auchard, and Don Auchard. He was a proud uncle to Libby and Gracie Mercer and will be lovingly remembered by his girlfriend, Sara Mayfield and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Auchard and his Grandparents Lewis & Marjorie Auchard and Robert & Leota Hunt.
Kenny grew up in Manteca and graduated from Manteca High School in 1992. Shortly after, he begin working for San Joaquin County in the maintenance department, where he was respected for his dedication and reliability. Outgoing and social, Kenny had a special gift for connecting with others. Whether at work, with friends, or among family, he loved making people feel welcome.
For Kenny's 50th birthday, he fulfilled a dream by traveling back to Arkansas to visit his cousins, Becky, and Wesley and their families. Though miles often separated them, he stayed close to his family. He especially had a close relationship with his cousin Stephen of Keyes, Ca. The two shared a special bond, being only three weeks apart in age and always finding common ground and shared laughter.
Kenny was a devoted member of Cornerstone Community Church, where his faith held a special place in his heart. He was actively involved in church life, serving faithfully as an usher, assisting with event parking, security, and helping with the technology behind the cameras and music. Kenny had a deep love for Southern gospel, praise and worship, and country music, and he especially enjoyed attending Christian concerts.
Kenny loved fishing, bowling and collecting memorabilia, especially sports cards from his favorite teams, the Dodgers, Lakers and Philadelphia Eagles. He also loved dining out with his family and had a hobby of making custom music CDs for others filled with their favorite songs. In his downtime, he enjoyed relaxing, watching ballgames on TV with his dad and playing on his PS5.
Kenny will be remembered for his kind demeanor, and his love for Jesus. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Cornerstone Community Church at 10948 S. Airport Way,
Manteca, CA 95336 on July 22, 2025 at 11:00am. A reception will follow at 1pm at the Emory Hall at 1028 W Yosemite Ave,
Manteca, CA 95337.
