On Monday, September 23, 2024 Kenneth Brian Bogan suddenly passed away in Atlanta GA at the age of 43. Kenny was born on December 22,1980 to the parents of Beverly (Bogan) Peeples and the late Keith Allen Bogan Sr. in MT Gilead, NC. His parents along with 3 other siblings shortly after relocated to New Haven CT. That is where Kenny attended Newhaven and West Haven public schools.
As a young boy, Kenny was introduced to the music business by his step father Kenny Peeples (with a life line of music from the Bogan family). He performed at many different talent shows, and showcases throughout CT, including the Apollo Theater in New York City. Kenny also was a member of the Ct chapter Zulu nation. His last showcase open mic performance was in Atlanta GA with his Best friend/Brother from another mother Jermaine Bridgette.
Kenny leaves to mourn his 4 children who meant the world to him. His daughter Kenajah Bogan and Gianni snipes (Princess) of New Haven CT, sons Dasan Dupree from Ohio, Kenneth Bogan Jr. of New Haven. He also leaves his only sister Linda Bogan Alford (Zamain), brothers Keith Allen Bogan Jr., Terrence Odell Bogan, Dwayne Bryant all of New Haven Ct, Wayne Dohna of Florida, And 2 Grandsons, and 20 nieces and nephews.
He also leaves to mourn his maternal Grandmother Elaine Williams and his Grandmother Shirley Johnson.
Predeceased by step father Bishop Kenneth Peeples, sister Nikeisha Patricia Bogan, paternal Grandmother Patricia Bogan, Grand father Munzie Odell Bogan, Maternal Grandfather James Larry and Charles Williams Sr. Kenny leaves behind a host of family and friends to cherish his memories. Farewell to "BABY BRO" (Nick name given by his BIG BROTHER Keith).
Services are to be held at McClam Funeral home address 95 Dixwell Ave New Haven Ct 06511 on October 12th, 2024. Viewing at 11am funeral at 12pm.
