Kenneth E. Bosserman Sr.

Kenneth Eugene Bosserman, Sr., 89, of Dover, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at 8:07 AM at York Hospital. He was surrounded by his loved ones. He was the loving husband of the late Patsy Jane Pepo Bosserman for 63 years.
Kenneth was born in York County December 27, 1934, son of the late Dale and Anna Clinton Bosserman. He was a businessman, a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Kenneth attended York College and was plant manager for Cole Steel Litton Industries, up until he retired at the age of 48. Kenneth also served in the US Navy with honorable discharge.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy. He is survived by a son, Kenneth Bosserman, Jr., and two daughters, Peggy Bosserman Grim and husband, Bryon Grim, Sr., and Joan Bosserman; grandchildren Bryon, Grim Jr., Kristal Grim Rothrock and husband, Douglas Rothrock, Sr., Cody Bosserman and wife, Amber, Dakota Bosserman, Heather Rosengrant, Matthew and Christopher; 15 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Bosserman, grandson, Jeremiah Rosengrant, and two great granddaughters Adalynn Bosserman and Julie Rothrock. He was also preceded in death by his two brothers, Lewis Bosserman and Earl C. Bosserman Sr.
Kenneth loved his family and his African grey Timneh parrot magpie. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and boating. He loved the ocean. Our dad was a hero. He saved a lady from drowning in the ocean. When she fell off her boat, she could not swim. He is a wonderful man and a hero. He enjoyed his life to its fullest. He will be greatly missed, but always and forever in our hearts.
Services and burial will be private and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SPCA 3159 Susquehanna Trail, North York, PA 17406. Arrangements entrusted to the John W. Keffer Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. West York.
