Kenneth Lee Bradshaw Jr.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kenneth Lee Bradshaw Jr., age 73, of the 700 block of Yarmouth St., who died on March 22, 2025, in Norfolk, VA.
Kenny, as he was fondly known, was born in Norfolk to the late Kenneth and Joyce C. Bradshaw, and was the beloved grandson of the late Capitola Caldwell Klutz. He leaves behind cherished cousins, including Kim Haddaway (David) of Chesapeake, and Katherine Gregory (Henry, Charlotte, & Jack) of Chesapeake, with whom he shared countless memories of basketball and baseball games. Kenny also leaves his devoted girlfriend, Pricilla West of Suffolk, VA, along with a host of other loving cousins. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Kenny proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1973 to 1976. After his service, he returned to Norfolk and earned both a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.S. in Finance from Old Dominion University. In 2022, he retired from the Department of Defense as an IT Specialist at Portsmouth Naval Hospital.
Kenny was passionate about sports, especially basketball, and was known for his encyclopedic knowledge of sports statistics. He spent many years at the local YMCA in Ghent, where his love for physical activity and fitness was unmatched. He was always ready to engage in a lively conversation or share a hearty laugh. His vibrant personality left an indelible mark on everyone he met.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 5th, at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk Chapel, followed by a Celebration of Kenny's Life at 5:00 p.m. at The Woman's Club of Norfolk, located at 524 Fairfax Ave. (Valet parking will be available.)
Kenny will forever be remembered for his warmth, humor, and zest for life.
