Bobby E. Gregory, age 84, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2025. Born on December 19, 1940, in Norfolk, Virginia, Bobby was the beloved son of the late Edward Gregory and Catherine Gregory.

Following his military service, Bobby worked for the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, where he dedicated 30 years of hard work before retiring. After retirement, he returned home to Virginia Beach, where he spent the rest of his days surrounded by family, friends, and the community he loved.

Bobby remained dedicated to athletics and fitness. He was a familiar face at the Virginia Beach Recreation Center, where he enjoyed working out and competing in the annual Senior Olympics, winning all championship medals.

Bobby was married to his wife, Mary Cox Gregory for 20 years. He was devoted and steadfast, demonstrating loyalty and responsibility throughout their life together.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Freddy Gregory, Catherine Muse, Percell Gregory, Dansby Gregory, and Eula Banks

He is survived by his wife, Mary Gregory; brothers Frankie Gregory, and Phillip White (Brenna) along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever treasure his memory.
