Kenneth Ray Caudill, of Stanford, Kentucky, was born Tuesday, August 2, 1938, in Perry County, Kentucky, to the late Vernie & Verna Dixon Caudill. Kenneth passed away peacefully, at his home, Thursday, January 18, 2024, at the age of 85. Kenneth was a member of the Fort Logan Church of Christ and a 1958 graduate of Memorial High School. He enlisted in the United States Air Force from 1959-1963. Kenneth worked 32 years at General Telephone and Electronics in Lancaster, Kentucky. He retired from GTE in 1995, and managed part-time at Miracle Car Wash in Stanford, in 1996, where he worked for 18 years. Kenneth was a member of the Caswell-Saufley American Legion Post #18 Honor Guard. He loved to travel and enjoyed woodworking.
Kenneth leaves behind his loving wife, Brenda Herrington Caudill, whom he married December 1962; one son, Kenneth Scott Caudill (Donna) of Hustonville, Kentucky; one daughter, Kimberly Nicole Doyle (Brian) of Somerset, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Skyler Chance Caudill (Josie) of Georgetown, Kentucky, Madison Brooke Wilburn (Luke) of Stanford, Olivia Ashton Daniels (Payton) of Somerset, and Sophia Grace Doyle of Somerset; three great-grandchildren, Oaklyn Blair Wilburn of Stanford, Kenneth Cade Caudill of Georgetown, and Maevry Kate Wilburn of Stanford; a great-grandson due June 2024; siblings, Geneva McKinney of Hamilton, Ohio, Veneda Phillips of Corbin, Kentucky, and Russell Caudill (Sharon) of Lancaster, Kentucky; and several extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by two brothers, Allen Caudill and Hansel Caudill; and two sisters, Josephine Bell and Mary Lou Whitaker.
A Public Visitation will be held 11AM-1PM Monday, January 22, 2024, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.
A Public Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Monday, at the funeral home. Bro. Kerry Jones will officiate the service.
A Graveside Service, with Full Military Honors, and Burial will be held 2:30PM Monday, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Brian Doyle, Mike Taylor, Mark Taylor, Luke Wilburn, Skyler Caudill, and Bobby Dale Popplewell will serve as Active Pallbearers.
The Funeral Service & Graveside Service will be livestreamed on Kenneth's webpage of the funeral home's website.
