Kenneth Clark Obituary
Visitation will be Saturday, January 28th, 2023 at the Kirkland Fire Department from 11 am-2 pm, with a fireman's walkthrough at 2:15 pm and funeral service commencing at 2:30 pm. Following the service, the procession will leave the Kirkland Fire Department heading east on Rt 72 through town, turn south on 1st Street, pass the Hiawatha Schools at approximately 3:45pm for a farewell wave from any families/students/staff that wish to. Families with children who wish to wave farewell to Mr. Ken are encouraged to be at the school at 3:30 pm to be prepared as the procession passes. The procession will then proceed west where guests can return to the fire station for a luncheon. Family will proceed to a private graveside service at Hick's Mill Cemetery and then return to the fire station for the luncheon.
The family of Ken would like to offer a special thanks to the Kirkland Fire Department, Hiawatha Schools and the Kirkland community for their compassion and generosity during this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to the Kirkland Fire Department in Ken's honor.

I always had a fun time on my school field trips when Ken drove me. I always knew I was safe with him, I will never forget what a kind, humble, caring, genuine person he was. He always put others before himself. My prayers and condolences for Kens family and for everyone who knew him
We will miss you Ken, Thank you for your service as a Kirkland firefighter. Rest In Peace

Ken was in my EMT-B class fall of 1998. I would see him from time to time at fires and classes throughout my career at Sycamore Fire. We would catch up and talk about EMT class each time we saw each other. I always knew when Ken was on at Kirkland Fire when I would hear him on the radio. My family and I send our condolences to Ken's family.
